Seek the illumination of Heaven not only at Heaven's own address but also in the lowest basements of hell, and you will know god. {whatever that is}
Hope is a required element in order to begin or continue any journey. My work is an ongoing investigation of the validity behind the sacred archetype and consequently its deconstruction, as a meditation on the process and mechanics of redemption. I am interested in histories; the topographies of inward landscapes. I am concerned with clarification and the cutting away of things, approaching a silence of mind by recognizing and confronting the darker corridors hidden beneath our everyday exteriors. An exploration of the relationship between what we have to lose through our sufferings and our failings, and what we are possibly subject to gain from them. When we finally realize that the decisions that we make render us culpable and thus capable of ransoming ourselves in response to the question of self-atonement then perhaps we will move forward. I believe that to find hope where it is perhaps least expected is a miracle in itself. Herein lies the weight of my endeavours.
My work is unalloyed, standing simply on its own terms as a testament to looking inwards as we also look outwards.

L’espérance est l’élément requis pour entreprendre ou continuer un voyage. Mon travail est une investigation continue de la validité des préceptes derrière l’archétype «sacré» et conséquemment sa déconstruction tout en étant une méditation sur le processus et le mécanisme de rédemption. Les histoires m’intéresse; la topographie des paysages internes.
Je suis préoccupé par la clarification et la décortication des choses, approchant un silence d’esprit tout en reconnaissant et confrontant les corridors les plus noirs, cachés derrière notre extérieur de tout les jours. Une exploration du rapport entre ce que nous avons à perdre et possiblement gagner par nos souffrances et nos échecs. Quand nous réaliserons finalement que les décisions que nous prenons nous rendent coupable donc capable de se prendre en otage, quand il s’agit d’expiation, peut-être pourrons-nous avancer. Je crois que trouver l’espérance là où nous nous en attendons le moins est un miracle par soi même. Voilà le poids de ma tâche.
Mon travail est sans alliage, simplement présenté seul dans ses propres termes, comme testament aux regards internes tout en posant un regard externe.
